Individual walkers, couples and family groups enjoy their walk through this scenic landscape. The River Dove flows at the base of the limestone ravine and is surrounded by ancient ash woodland, beautiful flowers and wonderful wildlife. Our scene concentrates on the iconic stepping-stones, where a father helps his young son across the large boulders. We see other walkers clambering up the steep slopes, or making their way to distant Milldale. Dovedale is one of the UK’s most popular places to walk – it’s easy to see why!
